Unfortunately when i started to model this piece Zbrush crashed and i lost the sculpting video that was formed alongside it. I wanted to create something that appeared necrotic and somewhat evil. I deformed the mouth to give it the appearance of a crudely hacked out smile to match the eyes.
I painted around the eyes and the mouth to reinforce the idea that it was some decaying by using a few different shades of red and black.
The whole design does appear to be of a low poly count and the texturing looks rough. I think this could be rectified with more time using the Dynamesh tool more frequently at the modelling stage.
