Micro Macrocosm
The video at the bottom of the screen demonstrates all five design concepts Tufte proposed in Envisioning Information for my Micro Macrocosm submission. However, within the design of the application itself I have attempted to incorporate several micro macrocosm aspects.
This platform is called DUB Audiobooks, which serves a dual purpose. Dubbing is the process of adding voice over and sound effects to a piece of media. However, by utilising the typeface Bauhaus 93 and modifying the pathing of the D and B the logo gains a secondary meaning as it serves as a depiction of a face wearing headphones. This logo implies earphones in the interior of the D and B due to the negative space.

In the media player component of the application, I added a toggle function for a micro macrocosm approach to viewing the time bar. By default, the timebar shows the entire runtime of a narrative. By interacting with this element, the listener can change the function to display either chapter, act or whole runtime.

The following video shows a brief run through of the application UI and design elements that incorporate all of these theories into a single micro macrocosm to demonstrate all of the concepts.
